This is an extended version of the popular Minimal BASIC programming language, known as "smart BASIC." With "smart BASIC," you have the ability to develop your programs directly on your iOS device. Programs created in "smart BASIC" can be submitted to the App Store as standalone applications by utilizing the "smart BASIC" SDK for Xcode.

The "smart BASIC" programming language boasts a variety of robust features:

INTERFACE:

Buttons, text boxes, sliders, switches, browsers
Pages for organizing interface elements
Support for additional TTF fonts
Clipboard functionality
Up to 11 simultaneous multitouch interactions

GRAPHIC:

Advanced graphics capabilities
Support for animated sprites and sprite sheets

MUSIC and SOUND:

Playback of MP3, AIFF, WAV, MIDI, MOV, and MP4 files
Programmable MIDI synthesizer featuring 128 built-in instruments
Compatibility with additional sound fonts SF2 and DLS
Speech synthesis capabilities

HARDWARE support:

GPS and compass integration
Accelerometer functionality
Photo and video recording support

Additional features include support for files, networking capabilities, integrated complex number mathematics, a customizable Integrated Development Environment (IDE), comprehensive built-in documentation, and a collection of pre-made program examples.
